After the 14th Five Year Plan was published in March all ministries and responsible bureaus also publish their respective development plans. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) published its plan in April for public commenting until 13 May. The Policy Update gives some background on the overall development goals, the main tasks for the next five years as well as the support mechanisms from the national level.
