Taicang is a pioneer city and one of the centres in China when it comes to Sino-German cooperation. On July 7th, 2021 Taicang local government published the document “Further deepen the economic and trade cooperation with Germany: 14th Five Year implementation plan on building a Sino-German SME cooperation demonstration zone”. It also describes the five purposes Taicang should fulfil to become a national-level demonstration zone for the cooperation with Germany.
