Zero-fault production with the help of smart self-learnung forming processes

The forming process is constantly controlled and demand-driven corrected with help of a measure and compensation station. The collected data are continuously statistically analyzed to provide the required input values for the developed correction model. The stroke-time-attitude of the servo press adapts flexible if a correction is necessary. A measuring device evaluates the angle of springback of a metal strip and a servo-controlled axis defines the correction value during a “test stroke” for compensation of the springback. In the following continuous stroke the measuring device takes the control and initiates a new “test stroke” as soon as the permitted tolerance deviation is topped.
