Conference: Shaping a globally secure Industrie 4.0 Ecosystem How to enable international interoperable security policies?
Working Group on security of networked systems
The current pandemic is a reminder of how important the digital transformation of the industry and global value networks really is. At the same time cybercriminals are using the situation to their advantage. Industrial security has never been more important – also for Industrie 4.0. The 2030 Vision for Industrie 4.0 shows that sovereign Industrie 4.0 ecosystems rely on security. A holistic security approach for IT and OT systems and infrastructures is the basic precondition for Industrie 4.0 and for global cooperation within digital ecosystems.
In this light, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the Plattform Industrie 4.0 have the pleasure of inviting you to the Conference
Shaping a globally secure Industrie 4.0 Ecosystem: How to enable international interoperable security policies? from January 28th – 29th 2021 at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (in Berlin, Germany).
This conference will revisit and deepen the outcomes of the 2018 conference "". Last time, 140 international private sector and political leaders joint the event, including high-level representatives from the European Union as well as ministries, regulators and industry initiatives from China, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and the United States.
In 2021, once again, we will bring together international top-level stakeholders and decision makers from industry, governments and regulatory bodies for two days of dialogue and discussion. The conference will focus on technical and organisational issues of industrial security on a national as well as on a global scale. Keynotes, panel discussions and a wide range of networking opportunities will provide space for in-depth exchange.
We would be delighted to welcome you to the conference and Web-Seminar. Attendance of the events will be free of charge.
We will soon add further information including an agenda and a link for registration. In the invitation we will also inform you about a virtual alternative, in case the conference cannot be carried out as an onsite event, due to the current situation. In the meantime, please feel free to direct any specific enquiry to email@example.com.
