The Platform Industrie 4.0 now provides a vision for the future of global digital ecosystems. At the Hannover Messe, the Plattform and its partners will present milestones on their way to this future, as well as take stock of accomplishments thus far. The Leaders’ Dialogue will focus on the vision 2030 for Industrie 4.0. How to shape future digital ecosystems will be discussed from a variety of perspectives and in exchange with high-ranking national and international representatives from politics, business and trade unions. Among others, Federal Minister Peter Altmaier, Federal Minister Anja Karliczek, and Dr. Ing. Frank Melzer, Member of the Management Board Product and Technology Management, Festo AG & Co. Plattform Industrie 4.0 Booth
At the Plattform Industrie 4.0 Booth (Hall 8, Booth D24) you can learn more about current platform activities and how they contribute to the 2030 vision. At various theme islands, you can experience the work of the platform. Also, the Standardization Council Industrie 4.0 and the Labs Network Industrie 4.0 are represented at the booth.
Forum Industrie 4.0
Also this year the Plattform Industrie 4.0 is partner of Forum Industrie 4.0. On the stage in hall 8, innovative Industrie 4.0 technologies, methods and services will be discussed with experts from around the world. Partners also include VDMA and ZVEI. This year, we are pleased that the Robot Revolution Initiative will complement the circle of partners, and that many Japanese contributions will be included in this forum.

Opening of the Forum Industrie 4.0 & Panel ‘Digital sovereignty and data-driven business and IT security’
Dr Ulrich Nussbaum, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, and Günther Oettinger, EU Commission, will open the Forum Industrie 4.0. Afterwards, company representatives and security experts will discuss cyber immunity, digital sovereignty and IT security.

Talk@1: Discussion with the working-group leaders on ‘Vision 2030 – Shaping Digital Ecosystems Jointly”
The working groups of the platform present the latest developments, strategies and options for action in their areas of expertise. The focus will be on the Vision 2030 of Industrie 4.0 for shaping digital ecosystems.
The conference will include contributions from Chinese and German experts along with a podium discussion. The latest developments on Artificial Intelligence as enabler of digitalization, as well as interoperability will be discussed. Prof. Henning Kagermann, Global Representative Advisor of Plattform Industrie 4.0 will give a keynote speech, among others.
