Paris - The International Manufacturing-X Council is becoming increasingly concrete. At a two-day meeting, representatives from ten countries, including delegates from the Plattform Industrie 4.0, discussed the next steps required to establish an international council that will coordinate and drive forward the development and implementation of Manufacturing-X as a global, collaborative industrial data space.

The delegates from Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, Spain and the US discussed the possible formal organization of the International Manufacturing-X Council, its scope and responsibilities as well as possible processes and structures to efficiently coordinate international cooperation.

Following discussions in Japan and Korea in autumn 2023 and further rounds in Spain and the USA, the Paris meeting marks another important part of the development of International Manufacturing-X.
