Industrie 4.0 has reached a new level: Implementable specifications, exchange formats, interfaces, tools, demonstrators and first applications of the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) are now available, enabling interoperability of components in digitized industrial processes. And: The AAS is about to become an international standard of the International Standardization Organization IEC. This is the right time to have a look at:
the big picture of AAS integration and interoperability,
the characteristics of AAS based applications,
first experiences with implementations incl. demonstrators,
standardization approaches to secure interoperability
the status of international and national partnerships and
next technical and organizational steps.
Target participants: We recommend this event especially for members of standardization bodies discussing Industrie 4.0 aspects, managing directors, representatives of associations and of national initiatives for smart manufacturing, system architects, engineers and developers working in businesses of any size.
Are you interested? Please pre-register.
We hereby kindly invite you to join us on Wednesday, 15.7.2020 at Hannover Messe (Convention Center, Room 3A). The event is free of charge but has a limited seat capacity. Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. Your pre-registration helps us to best prepare the seminar and to inform you immediately when a detailed agenda is available.
Timing & Format: The event runs in two identical cycles, in the morning from 10h to 13h and in the afternoon from 14h to 17h. This gives you the opportunity to arrange your personal schedule at the Hannover Messe and to start at any time between 10h and 17h to take part in the whole event.
The programme will offer presentations and discussions with acknowledged experts, showcase AAS-demonstrators and a “Meet-the-Expert Corner”. The open format gives you the opportunity to discuss practical, detailed and individual application topics with insiders of the AAS development community. The seminar compliments the ongoing presentations of the “Forum Industrie 4.0” (hall 8, booth D17), the booth of the Plattform Industrie 4.0 (hall 8, booth D17) as well as other AAS use cases and demonstrators that can be found all over the fair.
Organizers & Plattform Industrie 4.0: The seminar is organized by the working group „Reference Architectures, Standards and Norms“ of the German Plattform Industrie 4.0. In this working group more than 100 specialists from industry, research, federal authorities, standardization bodies and associations develop basic concepts for Industrie 4.0 standards. In cooperation with its partners, the working group brings its ideas into international standardization processes.
