Joint Architecture Alignment and Interoperability White Paper

The Industrial Internet Consortium® (IIC™) and Plattform Industrie 4.0 announced the publication of a joint whitepaper − Architecture Alignment and Interoperability – which details the mapping and alignment between the two leading industrial internet of things (IIoT) reference architecture models, the Industrial Internet Reference Architecture (IIRA) and the Reference Architecture Model for Industrie 4.0 (RAMI 4.0), published by the two organizations respectively.

Plattform Industrie 4.0 is the largest Industrie 4.0 network

With over 250 participants from more than 100 organisations, Plattform Industrie 4.0 is the largest and most diverse Industrie 4.0 network worldwide. Even at this early stage, Plattform Industrie 4.0 in its current form is a model for many other countries.

Over 300 practical German examples demonstrate that innovative processes for linking plant equipment, IT systems and business models more closely are already being developed and implemented by companies and research institutions. This collection will continue to grow steadily in the course of Plattform Industrie 4.0’s work.

The online library of the Plattform Industrie 4.0 is a constantly growing collection of knowledge of all topics of Industrie 4.0. It contains all the work of the working groups of the platform, but also strategy papers of the Federal Government and studies of our partners.
